Sunday Jan 19 #

12 PM

Running 48:19 [3] 3.86 mi (12:31 / mi) +223m 10:37 / mi
ahr:127 max:171

Run from Dava plantation, up onto the lumps above the Dava away, crossing the frozen boggy heather for a couple of Kms to pick up landy track that undulates back to the car.

Straight into the wind along the Dava Way, freezing cold and slow going. Wind just got worse, every direction, but air clarity was fantastic so stunning skies and light.
Frozen feet on the big section. A brief bit with the wind behind me.
Felt pretty battered when I got back to the car, far more than I should have for a 10ish mile run!
Would have had more consistent running at lower level, but this was good for the soul!

Running 1:21:52 [3] 6.84 mi (11:58 / mi) +140m 11:15 / mi
ahr:146 max:175

The rest of what's described above!
Far too much ball juggling this week, and not enough quality food or sleep. Feeling rather drained and cannot get warm! Less miles than I would have liked, but probably no bad thing I guess. Seem to have clocked some decent climb though.

Running 1:30:57 [3] 10.04 mi (9:04 / mi) +112m 8:45 / mi
ahr:139 max:168

Longer run in Culbin. Legs not overly cooperative to start but seemed to turn inner well enough.
Had to dodge thinning machinery in way out, and misjudged where they were on way back so a bit of off-piste to escape!!

Tuesday Jan 14 #

3 PM

Running 1:22:53 [3] 5.41 mi (15:19 / mi) +483m 12:00 / mi
ahr:138 max:179

Up, over and round M a B with Fran L and Sarah D. Perfect break from being inside all day at team meeting. Lovely company, amazing light and my legs actually wanted to work! Borrowed Judy's torch as I'd left mine at home. Very icy on the steep steps above the bothy; and seriously ice descending to the visitor centre so took it carefully there. Lovely :-)

Monday Jan 13 #

Running 26:29 [3] 2.86 mi (9:16 / mi) +24m 9:01 / mi

Easy plod to clear brain, juggling waaay too many balls this week! Legs tired after yesterday's mud and undulations and desperately need to do some stretching etc!
