Sunday Feb 16 #

11 AM

Orienteering (SOL 1 Darnaway) 1:02:20 [3] 3.01 mi (20:43 / mi) +111m 18:35 / mi
ahr:128 max:158

Green. 4.1km

Not too much of an arse of it. Too far left for no 1 - didn't read map properly at all! And very poor route choice to number 9. Aside from that, nothing drastically stupid, never lost and not last :-) result!!
So so tired at the moment though, despite minimal miles this week - depressing!! :-/

Saturday Feb 15 #

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 1.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

2 PM

Running race 33:14 [3] 3.78 mi (8:48 / mi) +166m 7:44 / mi
ahr:152 max:176

Last of the XC League races. Pretty poor performance really. Can't even blame the weather, just got no energy at the moment. A minute down on the same route for the Handicap at Christmas.
All rather depressing tbh :-(

Thursday Feb 13 #

6 PM

Running 45:19 [3] 5.84 mi (7:46 / mi) +40m 7:36 / mi
ahr:166 max:194

After spending the day sitting in the office looking at the glory that was outside, it was quite offensive having to actually run on tarmac, in the dark, round town!! But good gang tonight. A decent pace but less oxygen deprivation than last week :-)
Annoying ankle niggle (left) and hip (right).

Wednesday Feb 12 #

12 PM

Running warm up/down 8:42 [3] 1.02 mi (8:32 / mi)
ahr:134 max:148

Culbin forest tracks, hiding from the wind

Running tempo 24:35 [3] 3.25 mi (7:34 / mi) +48m 7:14 / mi
ahr:161 max:192

Effort, hard work as forest roads being slowly destroyed by the forestry works :-(. Last km straight into the wind and a real struggle

Running warm up/down 20:40 [3] 2.37 mi (8:43 / mi) +31m 8:23 / mi
ahr:165 max:178

Steady back to the van, fighting the wind

Tuesday Feb 11 #

1 PM

Running 36:28 [3] 3.86 mi (9:27 / mi) +61m 9:00 / mi
ahr:130 max:144

A rather thankless trundle from Coylumbridge, through various snowstorms. Looked beautiful but underfoot conditions were yuck!! Slush/mud/snow made for slow progress

Strength stuff later - squats with kettle bells and weights (need to source some heavier ones), planks and a bit of stretching

Annoying ankle niggle
