Saturday Apr 12

Running 1:35:13 [3]
Run with Grant in the morning from Molongo Gorge car park. We ran along the gorge to Blue Tiles or something like that, then on fire trails and a little bit of single track. Pretty nice to be running somewhere different. Picked up the pace on the last few kilometres home which were slightly downhill - my favourite!

Bought another pair of Saucony Tangents or whatever they're called at Pauls warehouse on the way home, only $70! Had to choose between them and the New Balance off-road rock stoppers (which are a couple of seasons old but wide which is good for my weird feet)

Friday Apr 11

Running 56:19 [3]
Early morning solo run up David st through CSIRO onto Blackie tracks - beautiful sunrise over the electricity station :-), no really, it was a cool looking morning with all the fog. Around LBM, and home. Took ages to stop feeling like crap - probably from squash last night

Thursday Apr 10

Running 48:00 [3]
Early morning run with the girls through Braddon, Ainslie, Dicko. Great morning to be running again - just the getting out of bed part is annoying
Squash 1:00:00 [3]
I won 3 sets to 1, but I don't think Stuart was on his game this evening

Wednesday Apr 9

Running 1:06:35 [3]
Early morning run with Mace through Braddon and onto Ainslie tracks. Had a nice chat to Cathy and her dogs in Hackett :-)

Played 'Rabbit Hare Fox Farmer' with the kids...a great running game and I was stuffed at the end

Tuesday Apr 8

Running 39:00 [3]
Morning slooooow jog up Wattle, along the ridge and back down Macarthur

Monday Apr 7

Running 53:20 [3]
Run with Grant from his weekday place in Kingston around the cool tracks on Parli House and onto Lake BG back. Dark at 6.15 now!

Sunday Apr 6

Running warm up/down 23:00 [3]
Jog from home to Stage 88
Running race (Women and Girls Fun Run) 19:07 [3] 5 km (3:49 / km) vdot: 52.5

Over 1300 entries, which was cool! Started off behind ALJ who fires from the start and I felt good for the first few kms. Passed 3km in 11.15 and started feeling a bit weary and not so great in the stomach, but tried to keep with a Hosking girl. Struggled the last km, esp because it has a bit of a hill right at the end, but didnt let anyone pass me.
Ended up 9th, some proper runners ahead though! - Lisa Corrigan, Emily Brichacek, Sarah Salmon, Joy Terry...

The biggest mistake of the day was staying for the preso. It didnt start for hours and there were no barrel draw prizes like usual. Oh well, at least it was nice to sit in the sun
C • WAG 5
Running 31:31 [3]
Evening jog - same as Friday but all the way home. Macarthur, Dryandra (Santa has been taken off the veradah?) and David sts
