Running 49:00 [3]
Tried to sleep in but I couldn't so I got up at 6.10am and pottered around. Kept checking the BOM website waiting for the temperature to hit 20 degrees so I could wear shorts and t shirt running! 19.4deg was close enough and by 11am Grant was up too and came along. We ran through Dickson and Downer to our Watson place to check it out after our tenants moved out yesterday. Then ran back home the same way, a tiny bit quicker. It was SOoOoOoO HOT!!!!! (I realised that for the past several months I have mostly run in 0 degrees give or take a few...)

Friday Sep 12

Running 40:00 [3]
Early morning run with Kylie from home on the Ainslie-Dickson loop. Tragedy struck at 6.02am when the espresso machine wouldn't work and I couldn't have coffee (after 4 years of having one first thing in the morning). I nearly cried but held it together and managed to run (slowly). Only did 40mins instead of the planned 50.

Meant to have one at school, but we have run out of real coffee!! Yes, I now have a splitting headache.

Running intervals 11:00 [3]

Running 57:43 [3]
Afternoon run with Grant. Went via Cherie's to pick her up but no one at home, so continued on to North Lyneham ridge for a lap, then on O'Connor ridge and home via Macarthur.

Sunday Sep 7

Orienteering 1:12:09 [3] 8.6 km (8:23 / km)
Picaree Hill

Steep spur gully area, and was slightly more fun than I was anticipating! Didn't make any major blunders but it seemed I was either: way too high, too high, way too low, or too low for every control! Didn't manage to ever be on the right level. 6 and 7 were mysterious. Mace and I thought 6 was where 7 should have been, so then we didn't actually punch 7, but apparently it was there somewhere. Oh well.
Running warm up/down 5:00 [3]
