Devils Burden leg 3 with JM. Enjoyable. Lost a silly 4 mins due to an early error picking the wrong path in Maspie Den. After that we took a bit more care with the nav, but it wasn't particularly tough. After the last control we headed downhill across the rough to join a forest trail, but many teams climbed back up the steep track to then benefit from the tailwind for the last 5km. Don't know which strategy was best tbh, probs depends what type of runner you are. Pretty happy with the time, we kept up a decent pace, though I suspect JM could probably have gone a bit quicker....I like running in a pair - always a fun day. :) Our team was 22nd of 155 teams :))

To top of Scolty via middle route than back down via saddle. Feeling good and set up for Saturday's Devil's Burden. 2nd fastest I've run this since been on Strava, and fastest since August 2018.

2 more people started tonight, 1 missing so that was 13 in 3 lanes. At one point we had 7 in our lane. Motivation to do my best to show the instructor I'm ready to move up a lane to one less crowded....
