discotheque intervals 1:00:00 [5]
decided after last nights effort i deserved to log some training. KL nightlife was pretty out of control. lets just say i needn't have wasted my money on that hostel because the city gardens underneath petronas towers was home untill sunrise once the last club we were at got shut down for some reason. english girls party pretty hard

Thursday Jun 29

Running hills 15:00 [3]

got into KL at 3am this morning, just ended up wandering town till light. met these two british chicks at petronas towers and spent the day with them

just out of town is Batu caves, which you have to climb 272 stairs to get too, good excuse for some exercise.

absolutely mcknackered from all the travel. time for siesta and the hitting up KL nightlife

back to singas in morn

Wednesday Jun 28

Running 2:00:00 [3]
Well, finally on the road. got to singapore late last night, dads place is wicked. despite knowing what to expect i found it a big shock being 30deg and a million % humidity at midnight!

went for a run today right thru the east coast park and into town. the singapore international triathlon is on across the road from us on te weekend and i saw some aussies out riding the course. was thinking about entering but its a bit late, i couldnt race in this heat anyway.

really struggled running today, had a full on last week so its not unexpected.
spent the arvo by the (one of 5) pools at the complex here. i imagine this is waht it feels like to have made it, i hope i make it!

catching the bus tonight to KL for a night there, wanted to stay longer but gotta get back to cook for dad!
tennis 45:00 [3]
massive sweatfest, was sweating more than dad which says a lot, mind you he is acclimatised!

Wednesday Jun 21

Cycling (mtb) 2:30:00 [3]
hit up the single speed today.

the big 44x18 is perfect on the flats, riding up diary farmers was a massive struggle though. my bike couldnt handle the sheer power of 95kg frame pumping it uphill so the chain decided to pop off......oh well, i was gonna walk anyway!
C • when will you in sweden dude

Running intervals 1:00:00 [3]
Pre game midnight psych up run to parli house and back with crazydave, kezza, hoggmeister and frogga. Took a lot longer than it should of cos we took the soccer ball and spent the whole time chasing grants kicks

shame about the game, there were definately some positives despite the result

Sunday Jun 18

Cycling 2:30:00 [3]
Northside ride with kezza.

In an attempt to add some spark to his love life he decided itd be funny to run over two 15year old belconnen girls walking around lake ginners. couldnt stop laughing as i rode past them, classic.

Good coffee break at gold creek, although half of canberra were there too
Running 20:38 [3]
Did the 5km terry fox fun run

was really wanting to break 20 mins, yet again not to be. didnt really help myself by starting way too far back and having to fight through traffic
Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]
run to/from home and a cruise with scotty after watching the 10kers coming home

Saturday Jun 17

Orienteering race 33:00 [3]
Scotty's saturday event at mulligans flat.

really enjoyable

Friday Jun 16

Running 45:00 [3]
Red hill

Wednesday Jun 14

Orienteering intervals 50:00 [5]
Froggas lynhem night intervals

the man himself had a bit of an incident getting out of a drain, i hope the ankles ok, maybe a light next time?
Orienteering warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Tuesday Jun 13

Running 1:00:00 [3]

cruise round the southside, red hill, narrab, grifftith, maans etc.

felt pretty good, back still a bit sore....just trying to stretch it out

Monday Jun 12

Cycling 1:10:00 [1]

A bit of an acejase session.

had a really sore back today so got on the roady and rolled at 22.84kph for a bit and admired the scenery, had a coffee and did some study....not all at the same time though

i think public holidays are the couples day. everywhere were couples holding hands, even people riding bikes, i even saw a mother/daughter (i think) combo.

Sunday Jun 11

Orienteering 1:00:00 [4]

Froggadogga's sparrow hill course.

felt fantastic today, running pretty well, reasonably tidy
badly needed the thermal towards the end

Saturday Jun 10

Cycling 2:15:00 [3]
cotter-urriara.

havent ridden this loop for ages plus its just nice to get out for a ride before smashing the books, it clears my head!

Wednesday Jun 7

Orienteering intervals 45:00 [5]

froggas night ints. good fun tonight, no adventure racers around! havent been training much recently, feeling really unmotivated....this always happens during exams. enjoyed running really hard....the last few weeks ive always been tired from midday sessions.
Orienteering warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Sunday Jun 4

Cycling 1:10:00 [3]
Rode out to goorooyaroo
Orienteering 45:00 [3]

ran ok, kez and muz caught up with me so i just tried to hold onto the train for as long as i could.

such a shame about jim passing away, he was a real character

Saturday Jun 3

Orienteering race (Night O) 45:00 [3]

Little mt Ainslis night O, ran way too fast and stuffed #3, had to keep going tho cos i was late for the warren miller skiing movie i was checking out at the national gallery. pretty amazing some of the stuff people can do on skis. all these dudes would just get in a chopper, find a ridiculous slope, get dropped at the top and just do it!
