| Got into oslo last night.
Alice wanted to run a pairs event starting out at a hut in Kobberhaugen. pretty cool little event, there are 12, 18 and 30km options and then most people stay the night. we did the 12. miserable weather and after 45mins out in the rain i was starting to think it was a bad idea doing this day before the marathon. Alice had been sick last week and seemed to be struggling a fair bit so we pulled the pin 1/2 way round and i headed to the sauna!! bastu is rapidly becoming my favourite thing about scandinavia. nice ride home in the pissing rain back down the hill out of the forest to the flat. the bike i had borrowed had no brakes so i was stoked just to make it back alive and rest up for the thong 2moz. pretty pumped, hope it goes well :) | ||

| Have discovered my favourite type of orienteering, the Troeng Ultrasprint!
Mats and the gang put on a damn fun race last night in högbergsparken. Rob and Als place is on the map but i dont think there would have been much home ground advantage had they run it! Everything was done so well from the website, promotion, format and all the little things like having a screen up with results, music pumping away and just a great atmosphere. Would be nice to have a slightly bigger final than 3 people but wicked fun none the less. christened the old bastu for the first time and had a jätteroligt bankett med pizza och öl tillbackan att klubbgården. I just wish id won the DxDeluxe boxers lucky dip, maybe next year. i hope the 1.5km race wont ruin my taper for the marathon! | ||

cracked the shits with study so mainly stress relief. its very easy to feel good about ur swimming around the swedes! | ||

made it, just! managed to borrow a light at the last minute to save myself from the petzyl! got put out as the rabbit in H21. the race was in the north western section of lunsen with a good trail network. didnt have too many dramas. mainly just trying to take it easy for the weekend | ||

thought id take a map mainly just to do a nice loop but decided i didnt need to use it once there. ended up popping out on the west side of the prrest when i had been sure i was skirting the east! nice seb | ||

| Back on AP now, hopefully for good....internet issues (or lack of) and laziness have kept me off.
ran the tjogofemmanna test for OK linne in nåsten. untidy on few controls bit not too bad on the whole, just feel so slow running in this terrain. there is a 50km trail race in stockholm the same day as 25manna but i figure while im here i should really run one of the 'big' relays | ||
