5 stromlo reps this morning with tommy and kez. fantastic morning, the boys must have slept in cos id been up and down for my 1st before they turned up. was good having the train to try and stay in touch with. masively mcstruggled on the last one. Tommy is a bad boy up those hills on his new bike!

Heard a rumour that some of the up and coming young aussie WOC rep guns (aka Kez) are using netball to hone some of their skills. i thought id make my debut. I was so shit, too unco. a few good intercepts but spent most of my time as GD running around in circles or being pinged for the 3ft obstruction rule! having learnt some of the rules i should be back with a vengence.

we got up by 2 pts for the record

AR race 1:18:00 [5]

Did a little sri chimnoy multisport race out at yerrabi pond and mulli's flat. I was paddling a bath tub so just did the short course, pushed really hard and just felt great the whole time. won by 10 min or so.
theres definately something to be said for taking a relaxed frame of mind into any of these thinds, makes it sooo much easier and enjoyable. great day out!

Grants UC sprint. I went out as the rabbit, was a little ambitious trying shortcuts thru buildings and jumping fences, very enjoyable, thanks frogga

Ran the Parly triangle intervals grant organised last week. I was in the hurt box today.

extended lake lap. legs really packed in while pushing hard up mt pleasant, need to do some more stretching!

did grants ANU nightO on the kickbikes with tom. was an absolute hoot, they are heaps of fun and you can really work yourself. I had a few near stacks trying the read the map and ride one handed, theyre not the most stable beasts!

Saturday May 13

Rogaining is officially shit, ive decided to give up my blooming career as a rogainer and focus on more sensible pastimes, haha

Aus champs down in victoria. i was crook again, spewing my guts up. real disappointing, not really sure what the problem is. hydration/electrolyte issues, dropped into the local pub at the far end of the course and watched the footy and just went out for a cruise the next morning.

good fun seeing him stack twice cos he forgot he had cleats on!

Was going to ride down to glendale from orienteering but bailed. bike path cruise out to gunghalin with kez then a coffee crawl.

Saturday May 6

ran up around red hill and cruised the last leg of triple tri to weston park. nice crisp sunny morning for running. jogged home via stirling park after orienteering at weston. gentle but felt good

we did a mass start race at weston park with muz, scotty, matty parton and a whole wad of juniors. Hurt pretty bad, not suprising given the high vol/low intensity ive been doing. lost no time, pretty dull orienteering tho

cruisy night run/walk from calwell over tuggers hill, over and around rob roy and back over tuggers hill with mark, selina and heather. perfect night for a run!! pretty low key

Campbell night intervals with the cockies. Ran hard, struggled a bit, first run since sunday and was still a bit stiff. had a good stack due to lack of light!
