felt pretty shattered today after 2 nights of not much sleep. nice to take it easy. bit of a BBQ and chill with some mates in the arvo hit the spot.

AROC 12hr.

wicked day out, plan was to cruise round, do all the fun stuff, show the yank and swede a bit of canberra bush.....and we came home 3rd mixed and 5th overall(i think).
highlights were playing in kidzone (in full cycling kit), tenpin bowling, pizza at debacle and ulf having a massive stack on a wide open bike path. had to make a smoothie with 4 ingredients starting with letters from L,M,R,S,T, V. our mix was lemon, rasberry cordial, milk and......VB....ouch, mine nearly came up running an hour later.
rowena was awesome.....Alinas cuz from the states (races downhill for team Santa Cruz).
nice to be able to cruise along on the runs knowing ulf wouldnt make any mistakes.

Friday Mar 30

Ulf Troeng came down to the berra last night to stay a couple of days. had shit boring finance lectures to sit thru so sent him off to sus out black mt.
tom asked us to put out a couple of kayak controls for the aroc on sat. good chance to have a go in the boat, shame it was blowing a frigging gale on the lake. poor old ulf got nailed by spray the whole time while i just got to sit there dry and steer. Awesome surfing back with the tail wind! pretty cruisey arvo.

Pre Pickle Lunch cruise round black mt, corks, bit in stromlo, aranda hill and back to uni with an american girl who im doing the 12hr with on the weekend. she races downhill for the Santa Cruz team, but goes up hill pretty bloody well too!

morning cruise. been a while since ive actually ridden during the day. was great to just be able to enjoy the sun and not be thinking about how dark or cold or early it is.

coffee at tilly's hit all kinds of spots.
better do some study, these days where classes start at 4pm are killers!

Ran over from uni to bilbies at dixon oval. took a bit longer than i thought so missed the running drills

6X3mins on 1 min rest

originally considered doing 8 but wanted to make them real solid. felt good and pushed hard through each one so stopped at 6.

luckily mace saved me having to run home :)
