not a lot to say about this. Great tough course by Steveo and I just wasn't up to it.

Orienteering race 20:40 [3]

Sprint @ Newcastle Uni. Put together a good race but lost ~ 70seconds on 21 when I got exit direction completely wrong and ran round the wrong side of a building and got myself very confused.

Fantastic course by Karen B. Very testing sprint and definitely the most fun race I have run there.

Orienteering race 45:00 [3]

Ah what could have been. was having an absolute cracker to 12 and sitting in 7th or 8th at that point I think but just had a complete brain explosion at the end of the longer leg to the spectator controls which I obviously didn't give enough respect to. result was an almost comical 6-7mins stuffing around. Very demotivated after this but eventually got going again and then got a tow from Toby Scott towards the end.

Although v disappointing I think I can take a lot from this race. For the first 18mins I just had that feeling of complete control and concentration. I need to work on maintaining that and not letting my guard down as that is when stupid mistakes happen.
