Went well. Thought the night would slow me down for the most part moved just the same as the day just a couple of dark spots that I took really slow.

another target shooter had the end lane so went beside him. Had pistol brass in my face to deal with again. Shot poorly again until it dawned on me what I was doing wrong. It is amazing how touchy the shooting is then again people practice for thousands of hours to get good. Once the other shooter left used the end lane and shot really well. This time made notes so I do not repeat my same mistakes.

Very motivated to shoot well when a Dad with his son was shooting. The dad was so nasty to the son about his abilities. Of course they were watching me through the scope shoot and dad could not help and make a remark that a girl was shooting better then him. I gave the son a chance to get back when I put five bullets through the same hole and he remarked to his dad I don't think you can beat this girl either. After that he kept his mouth shut and was much better with his son.

tried a different part of the trail just never realized the amount of ruts in it running just you appreciate them when you are skiing over them. More chances to ski with runners.

The range finally replaced ALL of the lightbulbs so this is the most light ever since I have been going here. I thought I would shoot great ended up shooting on the crappy side. Had two men beside me BSing about how great they are at shooting and could not deliver. Could not stretch my leg out since it goes into the neighboring lane. Had their hot brass coming into my face and body almost constantly once they left much better at both prone and standing. Could manage to get four through one hole just would throw one round.

After cleaning the gun which took a while since it was REALLY dirty. Had to use the brass brush to clean up the barrel. practiced both prone and standing.

spin with a run in the middle. This warmed up my legs really well.

tried to keep it as flat as possible. Went slow and I felt fine went right back on the bike again.

legs this time I could do a full range of motion with the left leg and it was pain free.

The gun is now too dirty to be that accurate. Tried training with my winter ski gloves on and still not shooting well so took them off and it went really well. REALLY need to clean the gun before I shoot again.

only so so prone. Started out poorly standing and almost stopped since it is a waste of time to just add lead to the traps. Ended up shooting fairly well standing. I can fell all of the kayaking in my arms.

Went in a different direction. Strong winds pushing me out so hard work getting back in. More of the same birds including Osprey, heron and barn swallows. Made it out to the river.

around the beach area that was paved. strong winds on the way out. Managed to see a pair of eagles just sitting in the marsh.

the map said it was only one mile no way it was this short. Went some off trail to get a better look at the Delmarva squirrels that only live in a small area. Also watched one that was fighting a snake they are good at attacking and moving away so they do not get bit. some birds to look at also.

first just jumping the waves in the ocean so strong easier to swim through them. Imagined at times this is how an open water swim could turn out. Had to work much harder to move around since it was high tide and the current was strong.

In the past underestimated my speed. These outfitters provided a map with distance since the inlet had many small islands. Managed to paddle out to Tannier Bay and without the protection of the land the water was much rougher.

very flat so fast moving. Lots of pesky deer flies to deal with otherwise good weather. The promised nasty storm only ended up being a few sprinkles.

spin. We had the instructor today that has tougher workouts.

went REALLY well both prone and standing. 15 out of 20 shots were a 9 or 10 standing. Did not want to lose my zero so cleaned it with the Boresnake. Switched back to the other ammo since the other one is a bit pricey since the range marks it up so much. This one made just as tight groups as the other.

Tried to find a flat area to ski with poles did not go so well since it was a little hilly and not really flat asphalt. Once I had the poles it went well especially got into a good rhymthem with uphills climbs.

Met another man out skiing just he had the lightweight skiis which has no brake. I kept with him for a few mins. I also more ambitious this time about chasing other runners which I can keep up with for a little bit just one man was running around 7 mins/mile; still too fast for me.

warmed up some and tried skiing with out poles very tough finished out using poles at the end.

planned to go to the outdoor range just too much to do. Shot well indoors. Did some drills for the cookbook just to mix it up some plus dry firing.

trimmed back some shrubs, lifted some dirt and drainage gravel to fix up more around the shed and planted some flowers.

more confident on the skiis so left the parking lot for the streets with more challenging hills. Saw on very skinny deer with two young one that had a strange gait. They let me ski close to them and never moved that much until I was well past them.

shot well again even after all of the kayaking. Coached just a little he is doing so well just need to let him train. After the busy weekend fairly quiet so better for both of us.
