| Shooting 2:00:00 [1] | |

today's practice was to shoot one round at a time and look through the scope to see exactly where it went. Took this long to shoot 100 rounds since I did not have spotter so for each round had to put the gun down, look and try to improve on the next one. ended up with lots of 10's both prone and standing. shoulder felt good started to get hungry so the shooting starts to go anyways. all the changes seem to be really helpful need more time to adjust/practice with it.

turned over the dirt for the garden plus moved around the top soil and mulch. Planted the tree along with the flowers plus weeded and mowed the lawn. actual time close to three hours,

so hungry had to eat first and then run. no problem running this speed. Shoulder felt really good also.

Bought a new pair of sneaker plus the added bonus of some racinng flats. Originally I thought they were discontinued when I could not find them in the regular price rack so when I went to the discounted sneaker area found the ones I wanted at 50% off. Shoulder feels much better after shooting - the homemade butte plate seems to be better and is custom fitted to me.

ran before shooting. temps in the high 60's with full sun. started out a little slow once I was warmed up ran well and easy. can feel some of the weightlifting/yardwork from yesterday in my arms.
| Shooting 2:00:00 [2] | |

First made changes to the gun. The rule is only change one thing so we changed six things. took a little bit to adjurst to all the changes, but they all are for the best. Once I got the idea much better and smoother. When I left the house it was slightly windy and rainy by the time I began to shoot the winds were 0-5 mph with full sun. shot 250 rounds towards the end started getting sloppy so ended the training. able to on a couple times prone and once standing to put two bullets in a row through the same hole.

More emphasis this time on upper body strength. Did lots for the shoulders including press, modified push ups etc. Did some leg work along with ball throwing exercises. Pushed the sled two times with 90 pds and four times with 135 pounds. planks with leg raise, back extension with bunge cord, rotartor cuff,

Just in case the weightroom was not enough bought mulch and top soil for the plants I just bought. Lifted six 50 pound bags out of the car and to the backyard- made sure to use my legs a lot. The bag was ackward to hold versus a free weight plus had to walk with it for about 50 m. Put some of the mulch out plus managed to put in one plant before dark.

wanted to get some faster running in so jogged over to the beginning of the 5K course and ran it. Not sure the mile marker points so just had to go on feel, but I know the total distance is correct. cool windy day for the end of April.

More dry firing. After sanding off part of the stock that I was dragging my finger over wanted to be sure it is better.

ran the Green course at Rosaryville. New map. Greg Lennon said it would be fast and he was right. I just ran easy to keep my legs moving utilizing trails as much as possible to get mileage. had trouble with two controls #9 unable to find a trail, and number 11 when I went on the wrong trail for a bit. Actually able to run well on some parts of the trail finding the woods easy to run through other parts had lots of downfall. Thinking of running a 5K for some speed that I skipped on Friday wanted to get in mileage plus wanted to shoot after it went well yesterday.
| Orienteering 25:20 [1] 2.4 km (10:33 / km) +40m 9:45 / km | |

ran a second course to get some mileage. Unlike earlier yellow courses this was much tougher. cut off to early for one control so lost some time here also more woods running. not as much trail with more field running through deep grass, plus rutted ground. actual distance I covered for both course is probably at least double this since I used trails so much.

after yesterday's intense training wanted to emphasize what I had learned and/or changed so shot 100 rounds plus dry fired. also had sanded away part of my stock never realized my trigger finger was making contact with the stock which can only mess up accuracy. feels like I sanded away enough, but will train more outside later in the week.
