Mfr run from Fairy's by myself as I was rather late. Blockie of Vic, Johnston and hoddle st. Nice to run but could do with a stretch.

22'48 6km XC relay Jells park. First lap 11'02. Think Mottram did 17'30.
HIlly and grassy course so had the xc spikes on.
FAntastic recovery from man flu after flooding my body with drugs and herbs last night. Recovery was enough to run ok but breathing struggled. I tried to do a mona fartlek on Mona as he passed me but just stumbled in awe.

Later that night, I saw the world record beer mile. 5'02. Incredible!

2 full laps of boulivard with Dion. Bit tired from last night aths.
My sickness is lingering.. Now in the form of blocked sinuses, like having two tennis balls jammed up there. Better then feeling exhausted tho

I was getting pretty used to the no training thing. Its pretty good to have extra time in the day and more concentration. Anyway back on the wagon.

Melb uni aths.
3sets of 400 on, 400float, 200 on, 200 float, 200 on, 200 float.
Floats were pretty solid. I wish I knew the time for the whole thing.

Definitely not 100% health, but better then ive been. Sinus and chest feel bit blocked.
Leg is fine, bandages are off and stitches exposed. Pretty tidy job by the doc.

Trot around Prini park and the Zoo. It was a real struggle to avoid walking.

Following run:
Mole removed from left leg and 2 stitches. Then blood test taken. I've been poked with enough needles for one morning

Note

Saw the Doc. I think, the first time in 4 years or so.
She said chill out. She also said that she will cut out the mole on my right thigh tomorrow. It looks a little suss.
Took the day off and chill out was mostly successful.

Melb uni track but couldnt do any ints. Exhausted for no apparent reason. I must be sick. Effort to move and my throat feels slightly suffocated by glands. Need a sicky from work but today is inconvenient.

Beach rd, Moridalliac return with Reubs, Max and Ed. Shocker head wind on the way home, lucky Max and Ed had the power to pull me along. Hiking has really taken a toll on my legs. Should stretch.

Note

last week of training = few 30-40min runs + overnight hike in the northern grampians on Fri/Sat.
