This was a tough session, bit of a struggle with tired legs from the weekend. Even so, I am happy not to be too sore and pump out some intervals.

Started off where I left off yesterday. 4min to first on 2min leg. Shep caught me and I stuck to his shoulder. Basically I thought this was the safest option from getting lost in the wilderness.
It was brutal early and I struggled up the hills.
We (i.e. Shep) made a few mistakes, including caught high on the long leg and then caught high again on a control a few later. We were also a little sloppy around the control circle for the legs at the end.

I starting reading the map much better after 3/4 of the course but still lacked confidence to lead when we were off line.

Physically: I felt pretty good and strong at the end but I have no form running up hills.

45'45 12min of Shep.
Joke of a run. I was really keen to do well but couldn't concentrate with a million other things on my mind.
Ballsed up everything I did, managed to get very angry and frustrated. I can't list controls with mistakes because it was basically all of them (altho just noticed I won 2nd split). Also really struggled to run in such lumpy terrain.
Confidence a little shattered.. it was too hard for me

Very slow, I've done it much quicker before. A reflection of fatigue and not going 100%

I didn't respect this session. Felt good/cruisy after 3 and was expecting to turn it up for the last few but really struggled to push in the home stretch.

Maisonette party recovery. Felt great given the concoction of potent
punch and beers I had last night. Some other party goers (who may be reading this) obviously arent as seasoned.
Had to get back for breakie catch up so not as long as usual.

Felt horrible:
1. My legs are still tight as from sunday
2. the arvo choco cake was not great in my stomach, and
3. was on a sugar downer.

Still nice to get out for a relaxing tune filled run.

Burnley Half mara 79'07. First of all time. Happy to break 80, beat some of my faster (in training) buddys and win a 6 pk for beating Chris zu.
Glad I dont have a gps watch to overanalyse, just run by pacing off Matt for first 15 as knew he aimed for sub 80. Little pack broke up at 16k I stayed somewhere in middle, flagging a little.
