Over the top of Ainslie. Feeling pretty stuffed. Dont seem to be recovering from runs at the moment. Need some chill out time. no work for 2 weeks after Friday, cant wait!

I hardly got into the game, took it pretty easy. Crap rules, Not even allowed to fart when your trying to defend!

Evatt to Belco and back. First half was with Kel at a hot pace. I was glad to run back myself and ease the tempo.

Bruce ridge then black mt. 10x (30sec on 1min recov 1min on 2min recov) with recov being pretty solid. Did figure 8s around top of black mt. Felt sluggish at the start but the legs got going. Stubbled home feeling pretty stuffed.

Note

Its a great day because me and the stick have finally parted ways. The big bugger has been in my foot for 1 month giving me pain. 2.5 cm long, pretty impressive!

I missed the group for tour de gus. Got to get up 10min earlier! Met TommyQ and Sebba out there tho and decided on 4x stromlo hill ints.
Pretty stuffed after the 4th, I dont think TommyQ was even puffed. Must be his new bike!

ANU south oval.
10 x 500m ints, 3 min loop
500s in 88-95 secs.
This was slow, is crap compared to what I did a few weeks ago. Brought up lots of flem, good sign I guess and feel a bit better.
Foot really sore, I can really see the splinter now, might come out on its own.
DId a few run throughs.

Orienteering race 45:00 [5]

Race time 33min. First time back in the forest after 3 weeks. Felt good in a fun area. Macquarie Woods South. Made a few mistakes, lost a bit on a conservative route choice and then some time into the green, just rushing into the control circle. Physically felt really puffed out, lungs not quite working properly, just a little sick. Granta ran through me at the end. He has been doing some secret training.

Got on the windtrainer because didnt really have time for anything else. Was some hard work.

Also found out from the Doc that I still have some stick left in my foot. Explains why its still pretty sore. Getting it cut out next Thursday.

Night Sprint course around ANU. Thanks Granta!Know this map a little too well. Meant I was a bit careless at the start but soon got into it. Quads feeling pretty smatched from Netball and all the pavement, but should be sweet tomoz.

First game of Netball, and when I wasn't stepping or contacting I was running around the fatty trying to keep up with me. Funny to hear him cursing. Playing as Centre for half the match was really hard work, Goal shooter and keeper was pretty cruisie. Think the legs are going to be sore in funny places tomorrow.

Stoked to get selected into the WOC team today, wish it wasnt due to Jule's injury, but thats the way things go hey.

Around Cronulla checking out the sites, felt pretty average after last night with 4 cheeseburgers for dinner and the visit to the pub. Was loving the warm weather tho, I dont think Ive felt temperatures above 20 for weeks. Its going to be tough getting back to Canberra.
Hopefully tomorrow will be the start of some decent training again.

ANU south oval. Thought Id test out the foot with a little speed but started enjoying it too much and went a little harder then planed. 4x run throughs 5 x 500m 87-92 sec. recov was about 90sec.
Foot isnt perfect, still some swelling around the cut that seems to be upsetting some tendons/ligaments.

Over to Ainslie. This was my first run back after I hurt my foot. The foot felt ok, was a bit sore towards the end especially on the downhills. Over the day the foot didnt get worse so taking that as a good sign and hopefully get into more running over the next few days. more stretching and icing needed.

Pool running sucks big time. I was pretty happy to finish the session. Next time Ill have to do it with somebody else.
Did bit of a session but found myself losing my form rather then really getting tired.
0.5,1,2,1,0.5,1,2,1,0.5min like recovery.

This was a bit of a pike for the day. Was planning on a long ride down to Glendale but just wanted a day to chill out. Rode through belco and Gungahlin with Sebba before a nice coffee at Sfolia. Legs feel good on the bike. Looking forward to a run tho.

Hill reps 10 x 2min 2min recovery, on Hernia Hill.
Tried to keep cadence high to get the heartrate up without my legs blowing up. This was a pretty awesome session, felt more like a running session then bike.

"Tour de Pete" ride cut short tho, back along Barton Highway, bloody cold dismorning. Really should have got those booties I was checking out on ProBikeKit. Was pretty cruisey ride, felt alright. Foot bit sore think it slowly improving, iceing it up after ride and right now. Think it needs a few days until I can test it with a run.

G'Day everybody! First log on attackpoint..... looks pretty sweet.
Today Road ride along federal highway and back with Jules. Went pretty hard early then got a bit easier on turnaround. Felt alright. Foot was a bit sore, worried a bit about it because swelling has mainly gone down but tendon under foot still sore. Still seems to be overall improving so hopefully be running soon.
