Cycling (Wind trainer) 24:00 [4]

The howling winds last night stopped me from getting out on the roads, so instead decided the wind trainer was the way to go.

8x 3min with 2 min recov

Afterwards went to Tilleys and tried the porridge under sheps instructions! With all the disappointing cafe experiences lately i wasn't expecting much. The special porridge with pistachios, camp maple and cream really did hit the spot tho! Good call sheppa!

Cycling (Wind trainer) 36:00 [2]

Warm up/down & recovery

Running 25:00 [3]

Up to Bruce ridge and home. Bad cycling legs to begin with, but started flying towards the end.... well as much as I can at the moment.

Cycling (Wintrainer) 30:00 [2]

Warm up/down recovery

Cycling (Wind trainer) 10:00 [4]

Mona fartlek, struggled at the start but got into it towards the end.

Feeling pretty sore all day at work after the stack but no problem once back on the bike.

Also saw the surgeon for the 3rd and final time after the op. He was pretty chuffed with his effort as normal. and Im pretty stoked as well. Ankle is feeling good and definitely no regrets! in fact I would recommend a ankle recon for any dodgy ankle out there.

Cycling (Stacked it Roadie) 2:00:00 [2]

Cruise with Sebba around south loop, inc ride home from work.

Stack it! First time Ive hit the pavement on the roadie without somebody elses help. I've been thinking of something to blame all day... the darkness, sebbas conversation perhaps the merida bike, but I cant think of anything thats truthful. Anyway a bit of day dreaming saw me slip off the bike path into the gravel and straight onto my right hip.
Damage: Holes in the booties, tights and gloves, scratches on my handlebars and brand new pedals :o(
Got a nice juicy raspberry on the right hip too!
been feeling a bit stiff all day

Also Double Shot is over rated! slow service, no porridge on the menu and coffees most expensive in the Berra not happy.... or perhaps I was just in a grump from the stack.

Running 20:00 [3]

Cruise down to ANU and back along the bike path. Feeling a little stiff from the stack but otherwise good.

Cycling (Wind trainer) 14:00 [4]

1,2,3,2,3,2,1min with 1 min recov. Not feeling the strongest at the moment, hopefully its just from getting back into full time training and I'll be recovering better soon.

Running 10:00 [3]

Stepped it up today and did 10min run down the bike path the other way. Ankle is still feeling really good. Running not quite as awkward as yesterday either.

Cycling (Road) 3:00:00 [3]

5 Peaks. In order Majura (9'56) Mt Pleasant (5'45) Ainslie (12'11), Red Hill (6'27), Black Mt (12'06) no special times, just happy to get over them.
It was a tough day out there, first of all the wind was gusty as, which was pretty nerve racking along Majura rd with so many buses and people coming back from there weekends away. I know to avoid it again on a Sunday arvo. I was starting to get a bit messy going up Red Hill, thought there was no way I was going to make it up Blackie. The 5'er in my back pocket saved the day and I bought a snickers at the servo. Stoked to have avoided all those double deals and still win a freebie in the wrapper promotion.
The Snickers and the imperial Russian Stout (11%) from the Wig last night saved the day and I made it around.
