Running intervals (ints and hills) 15:00 [5]

2x 2min, then 4x hill ints, then 2x 2min (like jog recovery)

Hill ints over in my favourite spot in Botanic gdns. 1'44, 1'44, 1'42, 1'36.
Been about a year since I've done these. Awesome spot

Was going to head to Sydney yesterday but was too stuffed and keen for weekend at home. awesome decision, I actually felt good for once and Im pretty sure it had to do with the first time I've slept past 7am and had at least 8 hrs sleep in ages. Arrhhh what a difference!

Running 45:00 [3]

Over to Botanical Gdns and recoverys

Cycling 1:20:00 [2]

Ride out to Stromlo and back for the Crit, still feeling pretty good on the way home

Cycling race (Brindabella Crit) 40:00 [4]

35mins then 3 laps, B Grade with Shep, Pete, Andy (Token team)
First Crit and was lots of fun. Felt a bit nervy on the first few laps until I got into the groove of the corners. Sat in the pack the whole race, then moved up the front with a few to go to help out the Andy for the sprint. 2 laps to go and started the lead out for Andy... heard shep yell something so figured I was going to slow and pulled over but he was just letting me know he was behind. Shame had a bit more in me, still I got to break up the bunch. Boys took over and lead Andy to a nice sprint finish victory. 1st Victory for the Token boys!

Wasn't as scary and dodgy as I thought it would be, altho with 1 lap to go had a dude swerve in front and put his pedal in my front spokes. No damage and was just happy to roll to the finish after that

Felt really good tonight, best I have on the bike for ages! Think ToB training effect has kicked in

Cycling race (ToB stage 3) 2:28:00 [4] 58.0 km (2:33 / km) +1615m 2:14 / km

Bright- Mt Hotham
What a awesome stage! First 28km flat next 30km all up. Sat towards the front of the pack until the hill started. Wasn't feeling great early but was happy to see the start of the hill. latched onto the back of the front pack at the start of the hill. about 15 guys, a few peeled off in front of me and I kept bridging the gap. Perhaps a mistake because I was hurting too much too early. Eased up and started dropping back. Hit the middle part of the climb which was fairly flat. Still struggling and feeling tired.. legs and hammeys stuffed and couldn't get my heart rate up, just leg fatigue. Couple road through me then I latched onto a pack of 5 or so. Then we got to the real deal and I started feeling good. Hit the 10% 1km climb and I powered away from the pack. Few down hill sections then more steep climbing into the clouds and started passing some C graders and lots of Vets/B graders. Could have done with another 10km and 800m of climb to get more places.
Good weekend, pretty happy with 17th GC, but really felt I hadn't done enough cycling for this type of thing.

Cycling 2:00:00 [2]
