Over to stromlo 2x hills (10'43, 11'10)
Got a bit distracted by my thoughts and didn't really end up pushing on the second.
Needed some music or a friend so was a bit bored too, headed back around the lake and home.
The Merida is no more! But I'm not sad, hopefully by tomoz it will have turned into a sweet Tommasini:o)
Also more resting of the leg, will try to run tomorrow morning.
Cruised around Pete and down Barton hwy. Feeling better then yesterday arvo... can feel the leg even tho riding which isn't nice.... but doesn't feel like it makes it worse.
Went for an easy one so I didn't upset the right leg too much. Struggled to get off the couch when I got home and struggled even more on the run... few walks. Leg didn't pull up great, going to give it more rest now. Stomach recovering but lack of energy was definitely related.
Out to the Crit track and back. Stomach was way to crook to race... bad enough cruising out and back.
Note
Bad day for training! Plan was to do 60-75min run in the morn but the right achilles is too sore and safer to rest it.
Secondly I planned to go out and do road crit but could only manage the cruise out and back due to a crap stomach.
The hard week that I had planned is not going to happen, this seems to be happening a lot lately, at least I've been fairly consistent over past couple of months.
1,2,3,2,3,2,3,2,1 with 1min recovery.. over to ainslie and hackett hill. Was struggling a little early but got better towards the end. Achilles was tender but ok until the cool down. Then it got pretty sore, ice and anti inflam rub after, hopefully it will pull up ok, but not counting on it. :o(
Easy one through Bruce Ridge and Black Mtn. Right Achillies/calf (where they join) wasn't great during run and pulled up a little sore. Bit of a minor strain. Hopefully with a bit of care it should be sweet.
Majura Ainslie with the Cockies (Andy, Frogga, Devil, Sheppa and Al for part)
Followed by first trip to Satis in Watson... not bad.... hint of Tilleys but without the bustle. Good coffee, good food, I'm sure I'll be back
