Warmed up an hour before was meant to start but then everything delayed so was hanging around for good 30-40mins ready to race.....

Run race 8:43 [3] 3.0 km (2:54 / km)

Loughborough international, cool race and glad I did it. Started off and went straight to the back and sat in, still went round in a 2:48 but was feeling okay. Dropped a little bit but still on for a pb until the wheels came off on the last 800. 22 degrees really got to me and feeling super de-hydrated by the end, also fell off the main pack which made it harder. Ahwell almost there (and didn’t come last!)

Loughborough international tomorrow where coming not last will be a good result, going to be messy.

Canal loop, bit faster as trying to keep up with Laura on her bike. Sesssion night before basically just loosened me up so this felt effortless.

1600 (10k pace) [90s], 1200 (5k pace) [2mins], 800 (3k pace) [2:40mins], 400 (1500 pace).

Was wanting to try keep to the actual paces today and just try feel good. Legs felt tired before started and didn’t really feel any better or worse throughout the session, all feeling pretty easy (apart from the last 4..)
