I volunteered at Cyclovia and had to sit by an intersection (5th ave and 4th St) and make sure no cars came into the bike area. I am glad I brought a crossword puzzle.

Felt overall really good. I picked up some leg warmers from REI last night (on sale!!) and that made the morning quite manageable. Enjoyable even. I had to go solo because Ellen bailed (ugh!). My previous longest solo ride was 35 miles, but it went fine.

felt really good to get back to the ol treadmill intervals. I miss my old running routine a lot but I really do feel stronger from biking. I just feel immediately better after running whereas after biking I feel the same or in the case of a long ride feel like I might die.
