Woke up this morning with very sore calves.... Ran warmup and active however as this got faster the pain did not subside and I could feel my body trying to compensate. So made the conscious decision to not race today. Really shitty feeling, especially since the race was fast I wanted to be out there for myself and for the team... Will focus so that I am perfectly ready for Boston

Today was pretty good however I fully deserved the outcome of the race. Should have just crushed the last 400m instead of waiting. Felt pretty good during the race so there is still a bunch there. Mentally the race and warm-up was great. Attempted the fake it till you make it technique, making myself fully beleive that I was a different person who was confident and ready to make moves as they came. Jim Carrey was a big influence on that....

First day back after sickness and boy could I feel it. The whole workout felt like I just had no energy left which is expected considering what I went through the past two days. But I struggled and got into that monday effort so that's that counts. Getting pumped for this weekend.
