I was very angry about today. I haven't been doing everything that I can so that I am 100% healthy. I felt that I was really preventing myself from running fast. I was very excited to race today but I was my own worst enemy.

Awesome pool today! Felt really fast and flowy and the first couple of intervals and then started to roll up my sleeves and get in deep. Did lots of visualization today of the 10 miler. Was running all out by the 45s interval today! Good post work today hurdles really coming along

Today was pretty good, feeling more or less back to normal! First two intervals were good but I knew there was someone behind me (I thought it was Zimak) turned out to be Louis. Told him "If you are going to run with me, you are gunna take some to lead". So me and him worked well for those middle intervals, and he got me going faster than I would have had I been alone. With him there I felt a lot more engaged. Probably could have given more on the last two intervals but I still got to a lighter monday effort. Really good 15 off the back end, pushed the pace! Really good strength today 2 new PBs.

Good run with Collo, hit up the hills and showed him some of my favourite trails. Fastest long run all year!
