Orienteering race 1:05:30 **** 3.44 mi (19:01 / mi) +176m 16:25 / mi
ahr:148 max:162 spiked:16/22c
CLARO event at Dob Park Woods. Did the blue, 4.9k and 190m climb.
Very wet underfoot, the NW end of the wood was one big marsh and we had a butterfly hub in the middle of it. Lots of small boulders in the area and 12 control sites used them, at least two control sites not good.
However it was good to get back out into the forest and although physically tough with conditions underfoot the area has a good level of technicality that punished sloppy orienteering.
