Ping pong-o

Ping-Pong-O is where you start at one point (a coach in our case), and you run to the next point on your map where the other coach will be, he will collect the maps, put a new point on the map while waiting for everyone else to get in. Once everyone is in he gives the last person a break then lines up the maps once we get in a line and says go. The other coach has now moved to the new point to await the runners coming in.

This drill greatly improves speed for reading the map, picking a route choice in within about 2 seconds, and orienting your map very fast. It is my favorite practice and I believe it is the most helpful because we do it where there is a valley in the middle of the two points so you get a major hill work out. I recommend this to everyone.

Running 45:00 [2]

Very light run to set a point

Karate 1:00:00 [3]

Did kumite today after the death streches, which is more fun than basic self defense. Kumite is basically competition karate. As we're actually trying to fight people. My sparring partner was a friend from long ago who is a black belt, and basically he kicked my butt
