Long run in the rainforest at Binna Burra. Rolled my right ankle about 4km from the end - hurt lots, but was ok to jog home. Its still sore, but not too swollen - and sitting in a bucket of ice water at the moment.

headed over to toohey forest for a nice recovery run. unfortunately my late lunch just wouldn't sit still and turned the run into a rather miserable ordeal.

started to get an itchy throat this afternoon. all bad!! time for lots of vitamins and a rest day. Also taking the chemotherapy approach with dinner - chilli stir-fry with lots of ginger and garlic and other bug killing stuff!

was planning on going for an easy ride, but it's 8pm, I'm still at work and it's now pissing down with rain... so I think I'll just call it a rest day.

O race at Collins Creek. Felt like I was running pretty well despite yesterdays long run. Some issues with the organisation... all the controls were in the right place, but about 1/3 had the wrong numbers. I had some warning of this because I started late, but lots of people were really pissed off!

Long run - over Mt Coottha and up into Brisbane forest park, I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn't expect the hills to be quite that big! Nobody else showed up so I ran by myself, which was fine except that it meant that I didn't really have to get up at 5.30 this morning. I think I might sleep for the rest of the day!
