Qld sprint champs at Kelvin Grove.
got a bit of a cold yesterday, so was feeling pretty average, but figure that KG campus was going to be technical enough that it wasn't going to be an all out running effort. excellent course set by Ainsley, with heaps of good route choice. nearly stuffed it by running from 7 to 9, but realised as I was exiting the control that there was no red line between them.
had a little trouble finding the pathway on the way to 12, and was a little confused to see Clare ahead of me again at 12 (turns out she didn't bother with 7 or 8). another group of short controls till 18, then realised there was only a run along back across the map with one control to go, so picked up the pace for one last effort. somehow managed to go from 14 secs behind Rachel at 18, to 30secs ahead at the finish.

cyclones group run from my place at toowong. just an easy one this week. did a loop around anzac park with clare and wendy, then a bit extra out to coro drive.

Running hills (Anzac Park TT) 27:57 [4] 5.1 km (5:29 / km)

bit of an easy one this week cos I couldn't really push on the hills. tendonitisy thing behind L knee wouldn't let me stride out or push off that leg, so didn't really get anerobic the whole way round. happy with my time for an easy effort though. home to ice knee.

run to anzac park and back, and warm up/down loops.

river loop with trolls. started at toowong (but should have gone into the city). fast, but managed to stick with them, and was heaps stronger on the climbs than I have been the last few rides. wendy troll was out, but didn't get much of a chat cos the pace was too high. river loop is still suffering from post bike week hangover, with heaps of muppets zigzagging their way along.

run to and from the grass track at taringa, and jog recoveries.

4x400m + 4x200m, all with 200m jog recoveries.
