Orienteering race 1:10:47 [4] 7.9 km (8:58 / km) +70m 8:35 / km

Scottish 6 day. day 1 at lossie in coastal sand dunes. pissing rain all day. started ok, although probably a little cautious as all the sand dune controls at the start were close to tracks. took the track routes though the middle part of the course as it was pretty tough running through the forest with the heather. had been going quite well until the last few controls where I lost concentration and blew 8 mins on 2 controls, although partly due to map dodginess in that area, particularly in the green.

warm up. warm down was the last few controls not knowing where I was.

the sea mark loop with Rosie.
Rosie seems to prefer the runs with Helen, she was getting tired at the end.
