Orienteering race 1:32:00 [4]

OY at Leyburn. massive fail. not really with it from the start. had a sit down while I was vague'd out looking for 4 and had my gel to try and get my brain working, but that only lasted a couple of controls. super tired and struggling to run. massive hunger flat. I guess the time in terrain over the last few days has been a bit of a shock to the system. still, nice to be out in the forest.

route choice exercise with Mark N. I seemed to end up with the crappy option each time, but it definitely made me run a bit harder than if I'd done it on my own.

putting out the rest of the controls before breakfast. tired and very flat. should have had something to eat before heading out.

Orienteering 30:00 [1]

line exercise on the crazy rocky hill. not great, but trying to rush too much, and make sure some of the young juniors didn't get completely lost.

physio pilates. tweaked my right hammy doing the same lunge things that tweaked my left hammy on tuesday. weirdly predicable I guess.

putting out controls at sandy creek after the worst of the storm. pissing rain. gave up when it got too dark to see the map.

Gap creek mtb. Sweat fest but not crazy hot. Legs made a more convincing contribution than recent outings.
