Whakatane 24. Racing with Anna, Stu and Gordon. Feeling pretty good the whole way and carryin lots of weight. So I think I'm over my problems. Came 2nd, had some problems on the last trek with random tracks not on the map. Locals had a big advantage and slipped past us.

Kayak twice around Blue Lake in the filthy advantage. Feeling fast.

MTB in the redwoods, mostly just on the gravel tracks. From home, up Direct Rd, Frontal, Moerangi, Split enz, Lookout Rd, No Brains, back up Moerangi (Green Lake Side), Tawa, down Frontal, down Hill and Lentil Link then back along Tarawera Rd. Feeling pretty good, except it was bloody freezing on the downhills.

Run from home in Redwoods. Going pretty solid. Feeling good. Lots of energy. I think all the hippy pills are working.

Monday May 5

Kayak on Lake Okaraka in the Advantage. Was cold and wet, and dark for the last half. Felt like I was going fast though.
