OCP with Stina. Rode the 29er. The race loop followed by riding some of the loop backwards. The 29er rolls faster and easier over logs and roots but the 27.5 changes direction quicker.

Monday May 31 #

1 PM

Solo canoe 2:56:03 [1] 8.24 mi (21:22 / mi)

Honeoye creek from Rush to Golah road. Me in the my canoe, stina in her pack raft. The first couple miles of the creek meandered a lot and had several trees across the creek that required portaging or hauling the boat over the logs. A slow current made things easy. Canoes are much faster and quieter than pack rafts.
