Attempted to do some O training on a map near where I am staying. Shame that the area had all been felled as it looked lovely on the map but in reality there was next to no forest there. Only did 5 controls as it was taking so long to trudge through crap. Effectively good contours only training as I couldn’t relay on the vegetation. My navigation was very good and I kept accurate compass direction leaving all controls and attackpoints. Still good to be out in the sun for my final training session in Scotland. Need a bit of a break now for a couple of days.

Blair Atholl to Carn Liath (975m) followed by Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain (1070m). Legs get good until the final descent and they started to get tired. Climbs were long and step but really enjoyable. Hopefully going to do some easy O training tomorrow afternoon as long as I feel okay in the morning.
