Running 28:34 [2]
shoes: Asics Gel Kayano 14

Such a lovely evening out! Went on the fairly large dirt/gravel trail behind campus and fortunately did not run into any bears or cougars. I hadn't realized that it was so manageably unsteep back there, and I finished it off with a nice single track trail. I'll need to follow that one further someday. :)

Squash 45:00 [2]

Busy last week of block! Drills with Jim then a game, I've gotten rusty!

Squash 30:00 [2]

With Toran. Fun stuff!

Running warm up/down 8:00 [1]

Warm up jog to the start.

Orienteering race 1:22:20 [3] 4.3 km (19:09 / km)

BC Championships Long. I had such a hard time getting into this race and felt physically tired from yesterday. I made a silly mistake right off the bat and then had problems once I got into the control circle. Some legs with good route choices (I'd say the score ended up being salal: 3 and Emily: 0). So nice to be able to orienteer again though. :) And special thanks to the Rennies for adopting me for the weekend!

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Warm up run to the start for the sprint.

Orienteering race 20:22 [4]

BC Championships Sprint. Really fun map for a sprint! I made some bobbles and a poor route choice or two, but fairly satisfied with my race.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [1]

Warm up run to the start for the middle.

Orienteering race 55:23 [4]

BC Championships Middle. About half of it was really good, but the other half was sloppy. No huge mistakes but just a minute here and there. Some parts were super steep, need to do more hill training (not that that should be hard in Squamish)!
