Orienteering 1:20:00 [1]
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Long at Long Lake. Oh boy. Need to learn to slow down more in technical areas in order to minimize mistakes. After that, had a hard time refocusing, then got cold, and bug bitten so I bailed.

Orienteering 59:20 [2]
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Looking oh so stylish in my orienteering clothes at the gym.

Strength 25:00 [2]

Orienteering 47:33 [2]
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Technical training at War Eagle. Got a little swamped in some green (great route choice), and lost contact a little bit. Should keep in mind attackpoints more often...

Running 10:00 [1]
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Warm-up.

Orienteering 30:18 [3]
ahr:166 max:183 shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Test run. Well... that was interesting. I messed up control # 5 by stopping too short and then it started to fall about after that. I just had the hardest time seeing the flagging tape even though I was at the feature, so I wasted a bit of time. And then going from 8 to 9, half way through my leg I read control 6 and 9 so then adjusted and had to readjust back when I realized.

Splits:
Start - 1: 0:40
1 - 2: 1:09
2 - 3: 1:57
3 - 4: 3:43
4- 5: 5:13
5 - 6: 2:36
6 - 7: 5:46
7 - 8: 3:44
8 - 9: 0:49
9 - 10: 2:52
10 - 11: 1:26
11 - Finish: 0:17

Some where after 7, I forgot to take a split and then ended up going back to the start for the finish instead of actually at the finish.

ahr:166 max:193 shoes: Asics Gel-DS Trainer 15

Fox and Hare Drill with Tori. Need to work on swinging my arms when I run, choosing slightly safer variations of routes, and compass bearings. Good exercise!

Hiking 30:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Gel-DS Trainer 15

Hiking around Fish Lake. Around 8km and 1100 ft climb I think. (Time compressed)

Orienteering 53:00 [2]

COC Short course from 2004 at Long Lake. Oh boy, glad I got to practice some technical orienteering. Two very questionable controls, but it was fun out there!

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Warm up and cool down for Yukon Champs Middle.

Orienteering race 39:42 [3]
ahr:172 max:187

Yukon Champs - Middle. Fairly sloppy orienteering. Had lots of difficulties due the subtle terrain. Need to focus on not zig zag across the line too.
