So I did this thing called orienteering, and it's fun! WET at Jericho. I made a small mistake or two, but I'd mostly like to blame that on not being able to see much with my headlamp. Very mushy. Some coughing when I finished.

I'm alive! Finally starting to feel better from a cold that's been plaguing me all week. It was the last day on my bike warranty to get a free tune-up, so biking to the bike shop. Gorgeous day. Chest still a little tight.

I also just recently got a lap harp! I don't have a strap or a leg stick yet, so it requires a lot of adductors and core to keep it upright while playing!

Orienteering 1:30:00 [2]

Catherine and I did the night-o together. Very glad we did, especially because I swapped out my almost dead batteries in my headlamp for even more dead batteries by accident. There may have been more chatting than actual orienteering though.

T25 Total Body Circuit DVD. A lot of planking, which I was doing on my knuckles instead because of my wrist, so that was kind of uncomfortable. The disk apparently had some damaged areas so it unfortunately skipped a couple of moves.

Fingers crossed I can go west tomorrow!

I saw an occupational therapist about my wrist. He thought it was a chronic sprain, so now I have some nifty bling (a Wrist Widget) that I have to wear all the time for the next 3-4 months...

Well, that was a major false start. I tried to head back to Vancouver today, but there were major storms in most of the airports I was flying through. First flight was cancelled 30 minutes before boarding, and next available one is on Wednesday! The airline's phones were so overwhelmed that if you called, you would get a busy tone instead of being put on hold.

And to those who want a curl update--I tried doing this pre-rinse the other day where you boil vegetable glycerin and ginger in water and pour it through your hair. I think it is supposed to make things shinier. I learned that you should not use a microplane grater for the ginger because the fine pieces of ginger are very difficult to rinse out and can end up looking like a bad case of dandruff... Also, let the boiling water cool enough before pouring it over yourself.
