Squash 40:00 [2]

Squash with Dad as part of his Christmas present. I surprised myself and actually remember how to hit the ball. My butt is definitely going to be sore. I have obviously not been doing enough power lunges recently. Might need to find myself a partner to play at the Y in Vancouver because I forgot how fun it is!

Cross Country Skiing (Classic) 45:00 [1]

It snowed! So skiing in Centennial Park. They had compacted the snow, but not set classic tracks. Nice day out and there were lots of other skiers out.

Very easy run along the Sea Wall. The water was pretty stormy and kept splashing up over the wall, but it was sunny out. Quite windy. My ears really hurt from the cold wind.

Nike training club app stress slammer workout. A variety of things, mostly legs and core. I also played laser tag today, which was fun and surprisingly sweaty!

Look, I went running! Well, on a treadmill but it was really dark and rainy.

Easy .5 mile (6.0), faster .5 mile (7.5), easy 4 minutes (6.0), faster .5 mile (7.5), easy .5 mile (5.7-6.0).

I've decided exercise breaks may be a good strategyl on really busy work days.

I got intrigued by the Nike Training Club app and did one of their workouts. Mix of things like planks, push ups, lunges, squats, and some other core work.

Strength 30:00 [1]

Stuck at home all day working before a presentation on Monday, so I broke it up with the Mark Lauren Bodyweight Training (aka You Are Your Own Gym) app. Holy smokes my upper body is so weak. Push ups, let me ins, tricep dips , and let me ups. Perhaps using a variety of these apps doesn't make the most sense, but I figure it's better to do something than nothing.

Circuit 23:00 [3]

Oscar and I did the T25 Total Body Circuit together. Except the DVD skipped a few minutes so it was only 23 minutes. I've decided I'm going to see if my wrist can withstand extension (with body weight) again because I don't love doing things on my knuckles. I'll try to be good about wearing my wrist widget thing although it can kind of cut the circulation off to my hand when it is as tight as it is supposed to be.
