Orienteering 41:25 [2]

WET at Queen Elizabeth. Oh my goodness my brain was not working. I accidentally went from 10 to 1, instead of 11, which was in the exact opposite direction. For 2 other controls, I was reading to the control ahead instead of the one I was try to get to. I tried to cut through some green, but ended up on a super muddy cliff that was covered in cut brambles. I do think having a better headlamp would help as I can barely see anything with mine. This week's organizer has a shoe store, so he brought some Inov8 trail runners to try. They were actually quite nice, and must have had some waterproofing as my feet were dry despite the rain.

A Boxfit class through ClassPass. The instructor was quite good at showing technique, while still making it a good work out. I think my former taekwondo life helped with picking up technique, but there were some differences between that and the muy thai style that were hard to adjust for. I'm a definitely out of kicking shape though!
