Hiking 1:26:09 [3] 3.0 km (28:43 / km) +853m 11:51 / km

Up the BCMC trail with Oscar! This was my first time doing it (it's been on my list for a while). I wore my new hiking boots that I'm trying to break in. It's weird having a less flexible sole, but they felt pretty comfortable except a little heel rubbing near the end. It was nice that it wasn't too hot out. I was moving fairly slowly, but at least I was moving at a steady pace. Need to get back into summer hiking shape! Went to go look at the bears at the top for a couple of minutes.

Hiking 57:00 [3] 2.37 km (24:03 / km) +580m 10:49 / km
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Hiking up the second peak of the Chief! The boys were too speedy for me, although Ian kindly waited for me at various points. It's been a while since I've done this. Reminded me of Quest days (although that one time I did it before moving my stuff up and down a lot of stairs was perhaps not the most well thought out one). My calves were quite sore the day after.

Hiking 54:12 [1] 2.37 km (22:52 / km) +10m 22:24 / km

Stealing some of Kate's stats (although not sure how her down distance shorter than her up distances). Nice walk down with Caoimhe and Kate. Legs were feeling a little shaky near the end. I also think I might have ended up with middle heat exhaustion (or something like that) as I was super nauseous afterward and threw up several times later that night, which is very strange for me.

Orienteering 1:07:18 [2] 3.4 km (19:48 / km) +200m 15:18 / km
shoes: Saucony Progrid Xodus 2

Super fun non-event event. I'd previously run on the map maybe 7 years ago or so, but not an actual course. It took me a little while to get into it. Mostly just tired and slow, but thoroughly enjoyed myself.
