We were supposed to do 90km, but it was so wet, and rainy and cold. We got pretty chilled around UBC and decided to cut it short. Not dressed properly for this at all (I'm not used to biking in the rain other than casual commuting). Took quite a while to warm up afterwards. Probably a good call as it would have been miserable to do 4.5 hours in the rain and I was still feeling a bit off from my cold. Need to get better clothes though I think, especially if it's going to rain during the Gran Fondo.

I've had a pretty bad cold since Wednesday afternoon. Congestion, coughing, general malaise. I'm spent most of my time since then in bed, but really needed to move a little bit as my body is feeling achy from so much lying done. Did a gentle Yoga with Adriene video.
