This was the ride Oscar and I meant to do last week, so it's nice to have successfully completed it! We had to add in some extra loops around the block at the end to get it to 95km. Felt pretty good, although it's kind of cheating getting your kilometres in in Richmond since there is no climb (although in Oscar's defence, he did Cypress yesterday while I was at dragon boating). We stopped at Sanctuary Cafe in Steveston for a coffee/hot chocolate break, which was lovely.

Lots of race prep for our last regatta of the season next week. We've come along ways from the start of the season! The coach put me in the back of the boat now with all the newer and injured people--I think because I told her that I wasn't coming back next season. Oh well.

Gran Fondo Clinic Week 9 (including commute). Small group tonight, but a nice ride. Feel like I've lost a bit of fitness over the past two weeks, but this was good to get back into it. We stopped for creme brulee at Crackle Creme on the way home :)

Feeling a little rusty after missing practices for 2 weeks. Beautiful night for a practice! We did 3 x 200m and 2 x 500m race pieces.

Spin class at Cyklus during volunteer shift. Wasn't pushing all out, but good to get moving again. I struggle with the drills that are at pretty high cadences.
