Note

Currently going to be working on a training plan to get me back up to 55mi/80km per week and from here on out I will increase by around 5 miles per year. Might start with higher, just figuring things out :)

If anyone has any advise I'd love to hear it!

A bit of a rough race today because of not having the best focus which kind of made everything else fall apart. All in all though I was super happy about my results this past week. In the end I came 3rd for M20L at the Scottish 6 Days!! Will do full analysis over the next week and make a short write up about it.

Pretty happy about my first ever overseas/international medal :D

Very good day of navigation but a few small mistakes. In the end I was beaten because the other guy could run faster than me. I will try harder tomorrow!!

Very tough 5.8km course today. Realized I took a route choice with even more climb, we'll see how I turn out because of that. Hopefully a top 3 spot. :)

Orienteering (Day 3) 56:51 [5] 7.68 km (7:24 / km) +270m 6:18 / km

Didn't stick to my plan on the first control which messed me up badly, the rest was pretty smooth other than I lost about 100 seconds to drifting in silly directions. Overall very happy; I finished in 2nd and am now ranked 3rd overall for the Scottish 6 Days M20E

Bit funny when you run for less time that a day before and yet your course is 1.1km longer. Happy though, starting to piece together more and more of a complete race :)
