Sunday Feb 21 #

11 AM

Cycling 11:12 [3] 3.84 km (2:55 / km)
ahr:92 max:128

To Bushy Park, excluding the queue through Church Gate

Orienteering race 51:22 [3] 10.76 km (4:46 / km)
ahr:147 max:177

Bushy Park Score O Challenge

It was a smaller map this time (and completely flat) so I figured I could get them all in the allotted hour.

Technically very clean except for a 10’ hesitation when I looked for a well in a forest (rather than a tree in the open) where my printer’s yellow colour had run out.

Not the hardest map in the world, but enough to keep you thinking the whole time, so good fun.

Cycling 11:59 [3] 4.44 km (2:42 / km) +1m 2:42 / km
ahr:136 max:153

Back the long way around

Orienteering 38:58 [3] 6.86 km (5:41 / km) +111m 5:15 / km
ahr:123 max:154

Some more kid-o control hanging. Possibly the best course so far, even if getting the balance right between hiding the kites enough so the public doesn’t nick them, but not so much that the runners don’t find them, is hard on a sunny day like this.

Thursday Feb 18 #

3 PM

Running 1:24:00 [3] 17.1 km (4:55 / km) +191m 4:39 / km
ahr:164 max:199

Just bloody hard work this, but the weather was lovely and the post-run sugary tea tasted extra nice.

Tuesday Feb 16 #

4 PM

Running 34:54 [3] 7.63 km (4:35 / km) +79m 4:21 / km
ahr:150 max:174

With Abi. First two km really tough, but then got better and properly pushed it at the end. Pleasing.
