Orienteering race 45:20 [4] 5.7 km (7:57 / km)

Easter day 3. 5.7km course, no Garmin. Really happy with my race today, focused even more on orienteering well and didn't make any mistakes! Very hesitant on number 4, it was a really vague leg and I knew it would be easy to loose time. Just shows that to have a good race I need to be focusing really really hard the whole way around the course, until the very end. I know it goes with out saying but sometimes you need to go back to the basics :)

Orienteering race 1:02:07 [4] 7.2 km (8:38 / km)

Easter day 2. 7.2km course, no Garmin again. Overall pretty happy with my run today, after yesterday I was really focusing on having good orienteering process, I started off really well and get all the little tricky ones in the erosion gullies out of the start and then dropped a bit on the way to number 7 and lost a little bit of time. After that I picked myself up again and didn't make any other mistakes, just slow towards the end.

Orienteering 43:18 [4] 4.3 km (10:04 / km)

Easter day 1. 4.3km course, didn't wear my Garmin so I would have run a lot further than this. My process today wasn't as good as it should have been, not a great pre-race experience and I just didn't have my head in it, wasn't fully concentrating. Made a few little mistakes around the control circles, I was planning the leg to the control circle and not all the way to the control; Something to work on in the future. One mistake also on number 8, I didn't hold my direction and drifted into another gully system, enough said :)
But it was a great map nevertheless, had a good time :)

Orienteering race 19:10 [5] 3.6 km (5:19 / km)

Elite prologue, Easter :) 3.6km sprint in parks/school buildings in Jamestown. Pretty happy with how I orienteered, a small mistake on number 9, a bit of confusion with the railway tracks but apart from that the rest was pretty decent. Just need to work on my speed.
