Cranked it up a little as the run went on, finishing at about 10km pace. Felt pretty good today - I seem to have recovered from the long run alright. Need to start weaving in some faster tempo work. A new little ache in left heel.

Afternoon run home from my parents via Dairy Farmers Hill, the Arboretum, Black Mtn, and Bruce Ridge. Ran through the cork plantation, which I've never been in before. Amazingly clear ground inside. Felt alright except for struggling with a stitch around the Arboretum and dying a bit on the hills near Black Mtn. Also managed to do a face plant on some single track but came out of it with just a few little cuts on my hand. I haven't done anything this long in ages so I was pleased to pull it off fairly easy and at a good pace.
