No pain getting out of bed this morning - awesome!

Cycling 1:27:30 [3] 23.0 km (15.8 kph) +470m
ahr:154 max:175

Stromlo single tracks with dad, riding his dualie again. Pretty much same route as my last ride here. Faster in general and skills improving but don't feel as confident cornering on this bike - I haven't got my balance and control right for the combination of the narrow bars and geometry. Physically felt really good; it's nice to be getting some strength and fitness.

The ultrasound on Thu showed some paratenonitis which might be the cause of the running pain and responds well to NSAIDS. So the plan is to rest from running and rehab for 2 weeks and do a nightly wrap of Voltaren and Hirudoid. Started last night and the morning pain was substantially reduced this morning so it's looking promising.

Running 44:30 [2] 6.6 km (6:45 / km) +170m 5:58 / km
ahr:130 max:157 shoes: Asics DS Trainer 19

Easy run with dad along ALJ and then a loop through the Botanic Gardens. Did more elaborate warmup again and the running part wasn't as painful as usual. Did my skipping afterwards, it was a bit more painful than the first time. Booked in for an ultrasound on Thu morning.

Skipping rope 3 x 30s
5 PM

Running warm up/down 1:00:01 [3] 2.0 km (30:01 / km)

To and from the gym

Yoga 50:00 [3]

Tried a class at the ANU gym. Was okay; not as fast or challenging as the one I was doing last year.
