Commute home. These don't seem to work very well for me. Last week I had foot nerve problems this time my left calf tightened up about half way through, ended up having to walk the last couple of km.

Will have to take a few easy days I reckon. Looks another week without a proper long run ...

Recovery jog. Calves a little tight but otherwise feeling ok.

Saw a little eagle I thought may have been a juvenile Wedgetail but when I looked it up discovered it was just a Little Eagle.

Mona Fartlek at the Stromlo XC track. Aiming for 3.35 and 4.15 paces steady throughout. It got tough at the end but legs felt strong right through - I never felt like I was struggling for running form - so that was a big positive. Turns out pace was a bit up and down but there is a bit of a hill and there was some breeze so I don't care too much.
