Great course, tough terrain, I left my brain at home. Pretty poor run on my part, no big mistakes but a few poor route choices and a fair bit of meandering off course.

stockholm half-marathon

pretty happy. had no big ambitions and just aimed to run under 90 mins. After a few k, I realised that I had gone out a bit harder than intended, but the pace felt extremely easy, so I just kept around 4:10 pace the whole way, eased up on the long slow uphill drag after 17 k and then tried to pick up the pace a bit in the end.

Might need to work on the finishing sprint. I passed about 20 people in the last 200 metres, but still got pipped on the line by some guy who came from nowhere...

Pretty keen to do another half-marathon some time. The distance was pretty enjoyable, but maybe that means I didn't run hard enough!

Felt surprisingly good, and I think the pace felt about right for the half.
