Trail run 2:20:00 [3] 10.0 mi (14:00 / mi) +2300ft 11:30 / mi

Lake Louis run/hike in Twisp/Okanogan Wilderness. packed bear spray and my backpack. Amazing views and completely isolated.
Lake was at 5400ft. So PRETTY!

Had to take a down day with dogs. We drove to the N cascades HW today. The pups are pretty tired. The 6 miles on mostly flat trail was all they had. We stayed on a forest service Rd in BFE:-)

Had an epic run planned, but dogs were not allowed where we went. Stinks to find that after after 30min forest service road drive.
Found this little gem after running around sleeping lady resort for a bit.
Did 1 mile at sleeping lady. Icicle Ridge was 5miles 1800ft. Straight up and then straight down. I had to take a few walk breaks.

Trail run 1:45:00 [3] 8.5 mi (12:21 / mi) +2300ft 9:50 / mi

Bridal Falls and Lake Serene in Index. Wet and very technical trail. Gorgeous views at the base of Mt index.
The last 1.5miles has 1300ft elevation gain. This was a doozy. Knee felt better running on this surface

Worked night shift. Got off work at 6am slept until 10am. Just cruised through the run. Feel a bit like a zombie today.

Monday Jul 4, 2016 #

Road 30:12 [3] 5.17 mi (5:50 / mi)

Raced beside Court. It was magical to run together. I felt better in this race than I did last weekend in the half. No knee pain at all. 1 minute PR on this course for me.
Took second 2 seconds behind Court.
