Running tempo (20/20/20) 1:06:17 [4]
shoes: Ascics Gel 1120

20 mins easy, 20hard, 25 easy out on mt Ainslie/Majura. Felt flat as a tac for the run but I think its just I'm still recovering a bit from the race yesterday

stretching/flexibility warm up/down 22:00 [0]

After the run today I did a (relatively) long static stretching session as I've been noticing that if I don't do it, especially after morning runs, I cramp and tighten up during the day.

Running warm up/down (pre-race) 40:00 [3]
shoes: Ascics Gel 1120

Running race (Interclub 1500m) 4:06 [5] 1.5 km (2:44 / km)
shoes: Asics Turbo Phantom

There were storms about all afternoon but about an hour before the race it started to clear up so I decided to get Rob on board and the two of us went out to the track.

Until about 10 minutes before the start conditions were perfect, a bit muggy, but the air was still and there was no rain. By the time we started the wind was absolutely massive, which meant a big PB was out of the equation.

In the race itself it was more like a time trial again as I dropped the other guys after 1 lap (it may seem petty that I complain about winning all the time but I wish some of the other guys could stay with me to help me along on the last 2 laps). Time was good for the conditions, 4:06, but I still have a lot of work cut out if I want to start racing well under 4min.
