Nice run on the upper part of the Mission Creek Greenway. Really busy at first with a lot of dogs, but apparently they do not go more than 1.5km up the trail. Although maybe its because that is where the climb starts that they turn around. Lots of practice with up and down steep slippery (icy) stairs on that part - good fun.
Really glad I wore the spiked Arctic Talons - trail was a frozen sheet of ice for the most part.
Foot held up well throughout the run.
Cool hill along the run with interesting layering of rock. Has a fancy name, just can't remember it right now. According to the sign it is unique in the world, except one similar formation in New Zeeland. When biologists get bored...Random pond at the side of the trail with a nice reflection and some melting ice that looked kinda coolCut about five minutes from the run time when I was playing around with my phone camera.
