Games (soccer) 40:00 [2]

10 AM

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Running race 40:10 [5] 8.2 km (12.2 kph)

Reino Run 2016. I LOVE THIS COURSE!

Had a pretty good run, cramped a little towards the end and should have hydrated and eaten more pre-race. But for a spur of the moment race decision, not bad. Finished 10th overall, about 5 minutes behind the top guy (some 15 or 16 year old from Summerland).

Orienteering 42:08 [2] 6.24 km (8.9 kph)

Man tracker 2016!

Ran with japheth, so a decent but a little slow pace. Nice for recovering from a cold.

Won the oldest age group., but one of the 8-9 year old groups got back 2 ,minutes before us.
No captures, none missing.

Wednesday Oct 12 #

Running 28:00 [2]

Was going to be longer, but got roped into marshalling the high school xc running race.

Tuesday Oct 11 #

Badminton 1:05:00 [1]

First time playing badminton in a very long time. Was very rusty, but slowly got better throughout the night.

Monday Oct 10 #

Running 1:40:00 [1] 9.5 km (5.7 kph)

Running all (or at least most of) the trails west of the road at Haines Creek. Used both the Bluetooth GPS and the Garmin which comparatively has way worse accuracy. Will be using the Bluetooth GPS's track for the map there for next spring. Still feeling sick (since last Sunday from the car ride home) unfortunately.

Mapping (Haines Creek) 3:40:00 [0]

Travel - 25min/way=50 min
Mapping - 100min
Computer work - uploading/debugging GPS track = 10min

Figure I should start keeping hours properly if I am making a legit forest map (still not sure if OABC will pay for it... awaiting confirmation).
Also still don't have the LiDAR basemap, so waiting for that before I do anything more than track trails.
